We started making oversized blocky figures because nobody sold one big enough to sit on a gallery floor. Every piece is drawn, printed, finished and packed by us in St. Louis, Missouri.
Each part is drawn from scratch with our own stud-and-socket joint tolerances.
Domestic filament, printed in-house on machines we maintain ourselves.
Each piece is thoroughly inspected for quality standards before being hand finished with sanding and clear coat.
Signed edition card, foam-packed, shipped from St. Louis in three to four weeks.
On the machines
Printed a layer at a time, over days, not minutes.
A 1500% figure is nine separate prints. The large shells run 18–30 hours each on their own; a full set occupies the machines for the better part of a week before any finishing work starts.
Support structures are cut away by hand, seams are filled, and every mating surface is test-fitted before paint — which is why each figure carries its own build number rather than a batch code.
In the booth
Color comes out of the spool. The booth is for clear.
A standard build takes its color from the filament it is printed in, not from a gun. Every part is then hand sanded and clear coated — at least five coats of 2K Glamour Clear, the same two-component automotive clear used on cars. It is catalysed rather than air-dried, which is what makes the surface hard enough to handle and gives the gloss its depth.
Parts are hung individually and shot in a downdraft booth so nothing settles into the finish while it flashes off. A flatted clear is available instead on request.
Custom painted and printed options — a color outside the stock filaments, a factory automotive paint code, a two-tone split — are specified and quoted in the configurator, part by part.
The commercials
Spots for a toy that did not exist yet.
Eight period-styled commercials made here in the studio — a cardboard skyline, a Christmas morning, a run through the mall, and the whole thing playing back on a console television in somebody’s basement.

Our figures take inspiration from a shape that has been part of popular culture for decades, but they are our own sculptures — original geometry, our own joint system, our own finishes, produced in small numbered editions.

Yes. Head, arms, hands, torso and legs separate on a stud-and-socket joint system we designed ourselves, and the head, arms and legs rotate with tuned resistance.
The 500% sits on a shelf, the 1000% reads as a statement piece on a console, and the 1500% is a floor object — the one people photograph. Use the scale slider on any product page to compare against a standard minifigure.
Yes. Anything on the stock filament list is printed in that filament and clear coated at no extra cost — that is the standard build. Custom painted and printed options are specified in the configurator: a color outside the stock list is mixed and sprayed by hand, part by part, which is quoted per project and adds two to three weeks. Send the reference you have in mind — a hex value, a Pantone chip, a paint sample, or an automotive paint code, which we can match to the factory color for any marque.
Every figure is foam-packed with a signed edition card and ships from St. Louis. US freight is free on orders over $100 and a flat $18 below that. Canada is a flat $18 under $99 and $30 at or above it. Choose your destination in the cart and the total updates before you pay; anywhere else is quoted at cost before we charge you.
Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for exchange of an equal value figure. Email the studio inside that window with your order number and what you would like instead, and we will set the swap up. Full details are on the returns page.
Photograph the box and the piece and email the studio within seven days — we reprint and refinish the affected part at our cost.
